Retro surf brand Golden Breed is making a comeback at Fashion Exposed with a view to expanding its stockist base across Australia.
Golden Breed's Petar Babic said the brand's planned presence at Fashion Exposed marked a return to the event after a gap of some seasons.
"We want to showcase our fantastic new winter range," he confirmed. "Attending the fair is aligned with our overall company focus, which is to elevate our distribution through more independent retailers. Whilst we have our own concept store in Noosa we would like to wholesale our ranges through some other great retailers as well."
The brand planned to utilise its presence at Fashion Exposed to "enhance our communication to some of Australia's leading independent retailers that consumers love Golden Breed," he added. "Our quality and value are fantastic and as Australia's leading retro surf brand we sponsor heaps of competitions and team riders; and of course our heritage in the worldwide surf history is second to none."
Golden Breed would also showcase a "sneak peek" at a new hip footwear concept Zipz shoes (pictured right), comprising sneakers with changeable zip-on uppers.
"We will also offer the world's number one selling T-shirt Gildan's package offers at unbelievable prices," Babic said.
In other Golden Breed news, the brand's team rider Harley Ingleby was recently anointed the new world surf champion of long boarding, while Golden Breed had also just completed extensive renovations to its concept store in Noosa, Babic said. The new-look store incorporates a surf board area featuring some of the best shapers in the world long board and short board categories.
"The look of this store complements Golden Breed's position as Australia's best retro surf brand," he said.
Golden Breed will be a key exhibitor of Fashion Exposed's surf and streetwear offering from 29-31 August at Melbourne Exhibiton Centre.
